Springer Nature to publish Journal of Biological Inorganic Chemistry (JBIC) for a further five years

The Society for Biological Inorganic Chemistry (SBIC) has renewed its contract with Springer Nature to publish the journal JBIC under the Springer imprint from 2021 to 2025. The highly-cited journal, one of the most impactful in inorganic chemistry, covers advances in the understanding of systems of metals in biology at the biochemical, molecular and cellular levels. As of this year, the journal is headed by Chief Editor, Nils Metzler-Nolte from the Ruhr-Universität Bochum in Germany.

JBIC is one of our renowned chemistry journals published under the Springer imprint, and we look forward to continuing to develop the journal in the years ahead.”
