Special issue on NETYS 2019
Aims and Scope
The aim of the International Conference on Networked Systems (NETYS) is to bring together researchers and engineers from both the theory and practice of distributed and networked systems. The scope of the conference covers all aspects related to the design and the development of these systems, including, but not restricted to, concurrent and distributed algorithms, parallel/concurrent/distributed programming, multi-core architectures, distributed databases, cloud systems, networks, security, formal verification, etc.
The papers in this special issue are a selection of best papers presented at NETYS’2019, which took place in Marrakech, Morocco, on June 19–21, 2019. These papers constitute a representative sample of the latest developments in some of the above-mentioned areas.
Extended version submission: 15th November 2020
We invite the submission of “extended versions” of a selection of best papers presented (NETYS 2019). These submissions should be significantly extended with a relevant part of novel contribution (at least 30%). A “Summary of Differences” between the submitted paper to this special issue and the former one must be included.
All submitted manuscripts must be formatted according to Computing's instructions for authors which are available at https://www.springer.com/journal/607/submission-guidelines. We will only accept LaTeX manuscripts which must use Springer templates.
Manuscript length: Please note that the page limit for Special Issue submissions differs from that of regular Computing submissions. Manuscripts submitted to the Special Issue should not exceed 19 pages. Submissions that do not comply with this requirement are likely to be desk rejected without being reviewed.

Authors should select ‘NETYS2019’ during the submission step 'Additional Information'.
A copy of the manuscript should also be emailed to the Guest Editors.
