Aims and scope

Marine Development aims to publish research papers in all relevant disciplines of humanities and social sciences related to the ocean and the sea, with a focus on marine economic management, marine resources and environment, and global marine governance. The journal's subject areas of interest include marine economics, marine enterprise management, marine law and politics, marine management and policy, marine ecology and environmental protection, and marine resource development. As a platform for interdisciplinary knowledge exchange, the journal will enable scholars to communicate their research and promote interdisciplinary research that advances our understanding of marine issues. In addition, the journal aims to advance marine research in China and worldwide from the perspective of the humanities and social sciences. It welcomes original research with a multidisciplinary focus and also encourages review articles that highlight the latest research trends and those with significant national and global impacts.
