Aims and scope

Discover Health Systems is part of the Discover journal series committed to providing a streamlined submission process, rapid review and publication, and a high level of author service at every stage. It is a multi-disciplinary, open access, community-focussed journal publishing results from across all fields relevant to health systems research.

Discover Health Systems takes a multidisciplinary approach to address systems-level research and discussions relating to health systems, services and informatics, reflecting health outcomes, including from business and health policy perspectives. The journal has a special focus on organisational management of health systems, health system-level integration of healthcare services, health informatics, funding of health systems, allocation of resources  and innovative organisational models.

Our intended audience includes healthcare workers (medical, nursing and social care), clinical managers, business managers and administrators, policymakers (including politicians), engineers, economists and other professionals involved in health systems research.
