    Intensive Care Research invites authors to submit to the thematic special collection “Encephalopathy in Intensive Care Medicine, from Molecular Basis to Therapy” to collate state-of-the-art research focused on developing effective preventive and therapeutic interventions on encephalopathy in ICU. We are particularly interested in studies that improve our understanding of the molecular mechanisms of encephalopathy in ICU. We welcome Reviews, Systematic Reviews, Mini-Reviews, Hypothesis and Theory, Perspectives, Clinical Trials, and Original Research articles that allow narrowing existing knowledge gaps.

  • Call for Papers: Cardiovascular Emergency

    Intensive Care Research invites authors to submit to the thematic special collection “Cardiovascular Emergency” to cover all areas of cardiovascular emergencies, such as acute coronary syndrome, acute heart failure, cardiopulmonary arrest, arrhythmias, hypertension emergencies, and aortic dissection. We welcome clinical and experimental studies or concise reviews on the prevalence, pathophysiology, diagnosis, pharmacological and non-pharmacological treatment (e.g. device, catheter based techniques or surgeries) of these disorders. Papers on healthcare policies or clinical guidelines designed to improve the outcomes of patients will also be considered.
