  • Call for Papers: Whole Life Cycle Building Decarbonization

This special issue aims to publish the most recent advances in building decarbonization research and applications. It is concerned with the methodology developments, especially when advanced digital technologies are involved, for reducing both embodied carbon emissions and operational carbon emissions in the built environment. Preference is given to quantitative assessments of the challenges and benefits of adopting building decarbonization measures under different regions, policies, and/or carbon emission trading schemes. At last, it aims to provide opportunities to demonstrate the real-world evidence of realizing building decarbonization via case studies.

  • Call for Papers: Artificial Intelligence in Architectural Design

In this thematic series, we wish to examine a possible future in which AI is not only a design assistant, but also a design master, becoming more involved in the design process as a whole. As a result, researchers and designers must consider new positions, discover new values, identify breakthrough points, and defend themselves against the incoming impact.
