Aim & Scope:

Urban Informatics is an emerging interdisciplinary discipline that provides foundational science and technology for smart cities. Urban science and applications not only motivate technological progress, but also reveal the wider impacts of the technologies, which results in the guidance in technological developments to realize the greater good. This special issue will seek cutting-edge smart city research trends and topics in terms of theoretical development and technology innovation to provide a deeper understanding in cities. It is grateful to receive transdisciplinary approaches to understanding, managing, and designing smart cities using systematic theories and methods based on new information technologies.
