Analytical Sciences - Call for Papers:Novel Analytical Technologies Contributing to Clinical and Pharmaceutical Research Fields

The roles of analytical science in medical and pharmaceutical fields are becoming more increasingly important. Analytical technologies not only contribute to clinical diagnosis such as quantification of biomarkers and screening for infectious diseases but also contribute to the development of medicinal products through identification of chemical compounds and pharmacokinetic analysis. Especially, the COVID-19 pandemic makes us re-realize the importance of analytical technologies in those fields and have accelerated the development of various technologies.

Here, we have planned to produce a special issue entitled “Novel Analytical Technologies Contributing to Clinical and Pharmaceutical Research Fields” in May 2024. In this special issue, the studies on analytical methods and those-related technologies that can be utilized in medical and pharmaceutical fields are envisioned. This special issue covers research based on the various technologies such as spectrophotometry, chromatography, mass spectrometry, electrochemistry, bioimaging, nucleic acids-based diagnosis, and immunosensing. It also welcomes research on development of novel materials and microdevices contributing to clinical diagnosis. We hope that this special issue will provide readers the new knowledge in the relevant fields and help to promote the development of innovative technologies.
