This special issue seeks to explore and showcase innovative applications of artificial intelligence (AI) and computational intelligence that contribute to the betterment of society as a whole. This issue aims to provide a platform for researchers, practitioners, and policymakers to present their work on AI-driven solutions that address pressing societal challenges, promote equity, and enhance the quality of life for individuals and communities.

Objectives:
Highlight Real-World Impact: Showcase AI solutions that have a tangible and positive impact on various aspects of society, including but not limited to healthcare, education, environmental sustainability, social justice, and public services.
Bridge the Gap Between Theory and Practice: Encourage the submission of research papers, case studies, and practical applications that illustrate how AI theories and algorithms are translated into successful solutions for real-world problems.
Explore Ethical and Responsible AI: Examine the ethical considerations, responsible AI practices, and legal frameworks that underpin the development and deployment of AI solutions for societal good.
Foster Collaboration: Facilitate interdisciplinary discussions and collaborations among researchers, practitioners, and policymakers working at the intersection of AI and societal challenges.
Promote Inclusivity: Encourage submissions that address issues related to diversity, equity, and inclusion, focusing on ensuring that AI solutions benefit all members of society.
Provide Insights for Policymakers: Offer insights and recommendations to policymakers regarding AI integration into public policies, regulations, and governance structures to promote societal well-being.
This special issue welcomes original research articles, review papers, and case studies contributing to the overarching goal of harnessing the power of applied AI to advance the common good.
