Journal updates

To publish in International Journal of Air-Conditioning and Refrigeration, authors are required to pay an article-processing charge which you can find in the journal's Fees & Funding (this opens in a new tab) section. The APC is determined at the date of acceptance.

International Journal of Air-Conditioning and Refrigeration is sponsored by the Society of Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineers of Korea (SAREK), meaning that every year the sponsoring society covers the article-processing charges for a select number of articles. Upon acceptance of the manuscript, authors can request APC coverage from the partner society.

In order to best serve our authors and readers and to meet research funder requirements, the International Journal of Air-Conditioning and Refrigeration has moved to full Open Access (OA) publication from 2022 on.
