Journal of Rare Diseases is the official publication of The Egyptian Medical Association (this opens in a new tab) (EMA). EMA was established in January 1920. The principal mission of the EMA is to promote access to healthcare in Egypt, knowledge sharing, public awareness, addressing public health concerns, medical ethics and novel diagnostic and therapeutic modalities. EMA also shelters other associations in various medical and surgical disciplines.
