Research in Health Services & Regions - Full Launch of RHSR - First articles online

We are excited to announce that “Research in Health Services and Regions” (RHSR) has fully launched and published its first articles.

RHSR is a new open-access peer-reviewed journal that discusses variation in health service provision. We aim to provide a forum for health services researchers, clinicians, and policymakers committed to reducing unwarranted variations in health care.

We publish scientific papers (including methods and results) and reports on health policy interventions. These reports can be on local initiatives that use evidence of geographical variations to implement the redesign of care. We also welcome policy papers on key issues and brief communications such as Research Commentaries and Scientific Letters.

Moreover, we intend to publish two or three themed collections every year. Right now, we have open calls to the collections Lessons of the Pandemic – How the pandemic affects our health care system (this opens in a new tab)and The Future of Health Care Atlases (this opens in a new tab).
