Carbon Neutrality - Special Issue: 2022 Asia-Pacific Forum on Green and Low-Carbon Development

1. Overview

Carbon Neutrality is partnering with the 2022 Asia-Pacific Forum on Green and Low-carbon Development to organize a special issue "2022 Asia-Pacific Forum on Green and Low-Carbon Development".

The 2022 Asia-Pacific Forum was held in Changsha September 8-9, with the theme of Carbon Peaking and Neutrality for Our Green Future. The forum aims to explore the strategies and pathways of achieving carbon peaking and neutrality through policy and financial support, institutional strengthening, and technological innovation. Built upon the momentum from this influential and successful forum, this special issue in Carbon Neutrality will contribute to a broad and timely discussion around the following topics: energy transformation, digitalization, low-carbon technologies, urban low-carbon actions, and carbon markets in countries in Asia-Pacific region and beyond. It will also focus on emerging issues including rural revitalization and low-carbon zones, and discuss road maps and comprehensive solutions to achieve carbon peaking and carbon neutrality goals.

3. Submission process

Selected keynote speakers who attended the forum will be invited to submit to Carbon Neutrality. The special issue is also open for submissions by scholars who didn’t attend the forum. Deadline for manuscript submission is July 31, 2023. Articles should be submitted using our online submission system: www.editorialmanager.com/lowc/default.aspx (this opens in a new tab).
