Interpretation: The current unsustainable manufacturing pipelines for modern materials as a process can be reshaped into a sustainable circular manufacturing cycle. As the artist has depicted, a pair of floating "hands" that represent materials science and engineering meticulously re-assemble the idealized ingredients into idealized lattices, structures of new materials....which then enter the production - usage - recycling - reuse cycle, that represents the future of manufacturing.
