Overview
The Indian Journal of History of Science is dedicated to promoting research on the history of science from various historical perspectives.
- Published quarterly in March, June, September, and December every year.
- Publishes peer-reviewed research articles, reports of workshops, conferences, and projects sanctioned by the National Commission under the History of Science Program of INSA.
- Also publishes book reviews, unpublished manuscripts that deal with the history and evolution of science in India, and important news articles of relevant interest.
- Began in 1966 and has been published uninterruptedly for over five decades.
- Offers a platform for scientists, historians, sociologists, and philosophers to exchange ideas on the evolution, nature, and methodology of scientific concepts and technological advances in India.
