Partial Differential Equations and Applications - Chi-Wang Shu awarded 2021 "John von Neumann Prize"

We're thrilled to share the news that our editor Chi-Wang Shu is the 2021 "John von Neumann Lecturer", which is the highest honor and flagship lecture of the "Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics" (SIAM). The prize recognizes Chi-Wang Shu's fundamental contributions to the numerical solution of partial differential equations. 

SIAM awards the John von Neumann Prize annually to an individual for outstanding and distinguished contributions to the field of applied mathematics and for the effective communication of these ideas to the community. Chi-Wang Shu will be awarded the John von Neumann Prize and deliver the John von Neumann Lecture at the 2021 SIAM Annual Meeting.
