Partial Differential Equations and Applications - A message from the Editors

Our aim with the new journal SN Partial Differential Equations and Applications is to build bridges connecting various communities: From the theory of PDEs, to computational approaches, to their applications in the sciences. We are convinced that a high-quality, unified platform for all PDE-based research will accelerate the transfer of knowledge, encourage interdisciplinary collaborations, and create value for the community as a whole. The journal is intended to be of interest to a wide audience, and it will therefore offer enhanced visibility to authors beyond their immediate research community. We are dedicated to offering thorough but timely peer-review, and accepted papers will be directly published into journal issues – no lengthy waiting times before an article is citable.
