The journal intends to share advances in management practice, concepts, research experience and opinions to help firms and other organizations to become more internationally competitive.

The goal of IJGBC is to publish insightful and impactful research on competitiveness and international business (IB). Competitiveness relates to providing context, concepts, strategy and execution to help firms become more conscientious, ethical and flexible while enhancing value creation and competing systematically towards higher stages of maturity internationally.

  • Evolves paradigms of competitiveness and sustainability, and frameworks to operationalize them such as Diamond, APP, ABCD
  • Encourages interdisciplinary research at interfaces of management, engineering, entrepreneurship, economics
  • Links competitiveness with research in strategic, international and technology management
  • Evolves through cooperation among industry, academia and governments in India, Asia and rest of the world
