Aims and scope

The Bulletin of Atmospheric Sciences and Technology covers studies related to the broad areas of atmospheric sciences and meteorology, based on a cross-disciplinary approach, with a focus on emerging and innovative numerical models, computational techniques, data analyses and retrieval techniques, and new sensor technologies, applied when and where meteorology and atmospheric sciences are relevant.

Fields of interest are the protection of the environment, the observation, comprehension and modeling of hazardous and extreme events and the mitigation of their impacts, as well as the development of new sensing tools integrating satellite information with surface measurements.

The Journal represents a forum in which new ideas are developed with the intent of supplying results of applied sciences, having potential direct impact on the improvement of sensing (measuring), mitigating, and protecting urban, coastal, marine, and mountain environments.

Content will be accessible for free in the first two years.
