Safety in Extreme Environments is an interdisciplinary journal focusing on safety aspects of human activity in extreme conditions.
There has been a rising demand for hydrogen which can be considered as a great substitute for fossil fuels. Hydrogen is the most available element and can be obtained from various sources. This special issue focuses on risk analysis and accident modelling in different process operations of the hydrogen life-cycle from production to application.
This special issue aims to consolidate the literature on safety and environmental issues related to natural resources development in extreme environments and provide an overview of the state-of-art of these issues and potential solutions.
