Waste Disposal & Sustainable Energy - Call for papers: Thermal processing of post-recycling urban wastes (WTE)
The first two decades of the 21st century have witnessed a tremendous growth of the global WTE technology, most of it in China, and also the first-ever WTE plants in major cities, such as Istanbul, Addis Ababa, and Belgrade. This Special issue is addressed to the opportunities and challenges of a major technology for the sustainable waste management of post-recycling urban wastes.
Potential topics may include but not limited the following:
- Thermal processing
- Waste-to-energy (WTE)
- Post-recycling
- Urban wastes
- Greenhouse gas
- Waste management
Papers will be published online upon acceptance, regardless of the special issue publication date. Welcome your contributions!
