Vegetos - Proceedings of the International Conference on BIOCoPE-2022

We are pleased to announce special issue of Vegetos as proceeding of International Conference  on “Biotechnological Interventions to Overcome Challenges of Covid/post-Covid Era-2022” (BIOCoPE-2022) held from 24 to 25 March 2022 at Amity University Rajasthan.

The online conference brought innovative minds together to discuss about interventions of Biotechnology in various fields. It offered an opportunity for researchers to address the key global issues and societal challenges in safeguarding the humanity and environment in this unprecedented time of covid-19. This conference provided an overview of antiviral drugs, repurposed drugs, traditional drugs, biotech drugs, Nanotechnology, vaccine development, and therapeutic strategy. It also provided a premier interdisciplinary platform for researchers, practitioners and educators to present and discuss their most recent innovations, trends, and concerns as well as practical challenges encountered and solutions adopted in the fields of sustainable development in agriculture, plant biotechnology, microbial and medical biotechnology and food processing industry which are required to mitigate the aftermaths of this pandemic by technological interventions, education, awareness, waste management and value addition.

The special issue will consider full papers (after peer review as per mandate of the journal VEGETOS) which were presented during the conference under following tracks:

Track 3. Food and agriculture Biotechnology

Track 4. Energy and Environment Biotechnology
