Topical Collection: Interdisciplinary - Functional nanomaterials for biomedical applications and tissue engineering
Nanomaterials are already used in numerous applications that span from industrial environments to medicine, because of their characteristics such as small size, and extremely high surface area. For this special issue, the invitation is open to submit original research articles and advances in the biomedical applications of nanomaterials that include, but are not limited to: cancer therapy and diagnosis, biomarkers, drug delivery systems, bioreactors, tissue engineering, biosensors, molecular tagging.
