Tara Hughes

Managing EditorVargas

Tara Hughes has worked for over 30 years within the NHS in the UK, firstly as a nurse then as an Advanced Practitioner in Critical Care and finally as a Manager. Her expertise is in Acute and Critical Care, but she has been continually involved in Adult/Paediatric patient safety, education and human factors all with the aim of delivering quality, evidence-based care. Completing Masters modules at Warwick University of both a clinical and academic nature has afforded her numerous opportunities in clinical practice, education, NoRF.org and NHS initiatives. Tara notes: “Participating in R&D has enabled me to appreciate how this can impact directly on our global network of clinicians and students.  After a fortuitous career I hope to be able to uphold and foster the ethos of SN Comprehensive Clinical Medicine.”
