Editor-in-Chief Professor Alamgir Karim (BS, PhD) is the Director of the Materials Program and Dow Chair Professor in the Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at the University of Houston. 

He has 30 years of research experience with an h-index of 60, a Fellow of the American Physical Society (APS) as well as Fellow of American Association of Advancement of Science (AAAS), and published over 300 papers including review articles and edited book chapters.
