Journal of Flow Chemistry - Emerging Investigators 2023

The field of Flow Chemistry is expanding at an unprecedented pace: more and more groups all over the world are appreciating the benefits that this technology can bring to the table, especially in organic synthesis. This has boosted the implementation of innovative engineering concepts such as machine intelligence and sustainable manufacturing, which in turn called for the development of timely process analytical technologies. Accordingly, it comes as no surprise that scientists both in academic and industrial settings have started rethinking their laboratories and scientific discovery infrastructure.

After 2 years from the first edition, we are pleased to introduce the second edition of the Emerging Investigators Special Issue of the Journal of Flow Chemistry! We invited a group of early career researchers, both from academia and industry, to contribute by sharing the latest research efforts in the field of flow chemistry. This special issue showcases the pioneering work of some of the emerging flow chemists from a diverse background including (but not limited to) organic/inorganic chemistry, mechanical/chemical engineering, and materials science.

Guest Editors for this special issue are:

Luca Capaldo, Università di Parma, Italy

Cecilia Bottecchia, Merck MSD, USA

Jie Wu, National University of Singapore, Singapore
