Good News: JMC has been selected for inclusion in the ESCI and Scopus!

We are pleased to announce that Journal of Membrane Computing (JMC) has been selected for inclusion in the Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI, part of Web of Science) and Scopus. All articles published since Volume 1, Issue 1 will be included in those databases, and will therefore appear in searches on Web of Science and Scopus soon.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank all the authors, reviewers, readers and editorial board members for their continuous support to the journal.

The journal Editor-in-Chief Prof. Linqiang Pan also wrote a message to the public as below:

Message from Editor-in-Chief:

As a vigorous branch of natural computing, membrane computing abstracts computation ideas from the architecture and the functioning of the biological cell, considered alone, and from the ways the cells cooperate in populations like tissues, organs, colonies, including neural cells, hence also the brain.

The journal JMC was born in 2019 with the aim of establishing a platform for the international membrane computing communities to exchange research experiences, share knowledge, and discuss important issues by publishing high-quality papers.

Through the years, JMC has seen an impressive increase in paper downloads. We are looking forward to continuous support from international communities to establish JMC as one of the premier venues for publications of original research, state-of-the-art cross-disciplinary surveys and review articles, short communications, and tutorial papers in all aspects of membrane computing.
