PIOS Best Paper Award

Each year, the Editors-in-Chief of Process Integration and Optimization for Sustainability acknowledge and honor the authors of an outstanding paper published in the journal as the Best Paper of the Year.  

The best papers are selected based on assessment of reviewer reports, citation and download statistics, as well as the expert judgment of how papers contribute scientifically to the journal’s core priority areas. The winning paper will be announced in an editorial note in the first issue of each volume.
