Journal of Geovisualization and Spatial Analysis - Continuous Article Publishing (CAP)

The Journal of Geovisualization and Spatial Analysis uses the “Continuous Article Publishing” publication model, where all accepted articles are immediately published in an issue and, instead of consecutive pagination of articles throughout a volume, each article has an internal pagination beginning with page 1. In addition, every article has a unique Article Citation ID number which is visible on every page of an article and replaces the page numbers in the citation line.

As a result, all articles have their full and final citation information available as soon as the production process is complete. This change does not affect the production time from acceptance to online publication of an article, but since the articles are published online immediately in their final form, the overall publication time for articles has become shorter.
