Aims and scope

Lasers in Dental Science was established to become a leading international publication in the continuously growing field of dental laser applications.

It provides a forum for the publication of manuscripts on experimental, preclinical, and clinical aspects of the use of dental lasers in a wide variety of specialties, including Operative Dentistry, Cariology, Periodontology, Endodontics, Implantology, Prosthodontics, Orthodontics, Aesthetic Dentistry, and Oral Surgery. In addition, the journal publishes papers on the dental application of new lasers, basic laser–tissue interactions, photobiomodulation, photodynamic therapy, low-level laser therapy, photodiagnostics, and temporomandibular joint and muscle disorders/pain management.

Original articles, reviews, short reports and comments will be accepted. Case reports/series are accepted only in exceptional cases, provided that they demonstrate new scientific findings that add value to the scientific community. Letters to the editor are welcome as enhancements to discussions.
