Aims and scope

The Transactions of Indian National Academy of Engineering is a broad-scoped, peer-reviewed journal that publishes original research in all the disciplines of engineering, including various inter-disciplinary aspects. The journal encourages quality, scientifically valid, original articles which present a good understanding of scientific knowledge, experiments and theories, methods and techniques, as well as interdisciplinary linkages. It welcomes research articles, review papers, case studies, and technical notes of interest to academics, practitioners, scientists, and engineers. All papers are evaluated on the basis of scientific content. Submissions are first screened for research and publication ethics prior to peer review.

Peer Review Policy of the Journal
The Transactions of INAE follows a single blind peer review process. Editor(s) are expected to independently verify the contact details of reviewers suggested by authors or Editorial Board Members. Journal encourages the use of Institutional email addresses and invites peer reviewers wherever possible. Each manuscript should be reviewed at least by one reviewer who was not suggested by the author. However, each paper is normally reviewed by at least two external reviewers.
