Aims and scope

The Journal publishes original contributions and review articles in any active fields of probability and statistics motivated by real life applications.  Special emphases are provided on recent topics like statistical learning, deep learning, high-dimensional problems, semi-parametric models, biostatistics, random networks, bioinformatics etc. Papers submitted for possible publications should contain interesting and novel contributions to the fields of probability and statistical theory and their applications with rigorous mathematical results.  Papers that have wide applications will be preferred. The diverse editorial board is committed to evaluate quality research papers in a quick and fair manner. Articles are evaluated based on their originality and technical correctness and applications. In addition to original research papers, the journal also publishes survey articles, short notes and reports on statistical software.  Periodically it is planned to publish special issues also. All articles are globally peer-reviewed before they can be considered for publication. The Journal follows a double blind peer reviewing process, which means that both the reviewer and author identities are concealed from the reviewers, and vice versa, throughout the review process, i.e., neither author nor reviewer is aware of each other’s identities.
