Innovative Infrastructure Solutions - Topical Collection on

COVID-19 and its effect on the Environment, Human Life, and Engineering Projects

Call for Papers:

No doubt that COVID-19 affected all sides of our life. One of its downsides is that the economy of countries and all the projects have been affected a lot. Meanwhile, one of its positives is that the environment has improved a lot due to the reduction of harmful emissions. There are many downsides and positives for COVID-19 that can be discussed in a Journal's Topical Collection.
IISS journal takes this responsibility by creating a Topical Collection to explain the pros and cons of COVID-19 to our lives in general, and especially for Engineering and Environmental studies, and how to meet these challenges.
So, we are pleased to invite you to participate in this very important topical collection. Deadline for paper submission is December 30, 2020. Please submit your manuscript at: https://www.editorialmanager.com/iiss/default.aspx

Strategy

The first part of this topical collection strategy is having a paper briefing the COVID-19 Bio, a paper on the Engineering Infrastructure to overcome the remote learning and a paper on the impact on the environment. New submissions for this part are now closed.

The second part is to have a group of papers discussing the effect of COVID-19 on the Engineering projects, including research articles and case studies. We accept new submissions for this part currently.

The last part of this topical collection strategy is to have some papers discussing the effect of COVID-19 on the Climate Change, which reflects on the Civil Infrastructures analysis and design. We accept new submissions for this part currently.
