Progress in Additive Manufacturing - Call for Papers - Special Issue on Rapid.Tech 3D Conference 2024

Rapid.Tech 3D is one of Germany’s most important events in the field of Additive Manufacturing and hosts Germany’s longest standing conference on Additive Manufacturing. Already for the ninth time, there will be a purely scientific session within the Rapid.Tech 3D conference 2024 as a completion of the user-oriented sessions. This Special Issue presents the latest research collected from the Science forums of the “20^th Rapid.Tech 3D conference” (https://www.rapidtech-3d.de/ (this opens in a new tab)). The congress will present insights into the use of additive manufacturing as prototype technologies, for tool making and for series production. The deep technical penetration of current topics in additive manufacturing is made possible by focused specialist forums. These address the topics of mobility, aerospace, chemistry, software and simulation, among others. Contributions included in this Special Issue are characterized by highest scientific quality and are the best scientific contributions of this conference.
