Progress in Additive Manufacturing - Special Issue Progress in Electron Beam Additive Manufacturing

Electron Beam Additive Manufacturing technologies either powder or wire-based are relevant for the processing of high-performance alloys. This Special Issue presents the latest research collected from the “4th International Conference on Electron Beam Additive Manufacturing” EBAM 2023 (www.ebam.fau.de (this opens in a new tab)). Authors should refer to the Submission Guidelines (this opens in a new tab) and manuscripts should be submitted through Editorial Manager (this opens in a new tab). When submitting manuscripts, authors should select the article type as a “Full Research Article”, and in “Additional Information”, select “SI: Progress in Electron Beam Additive Manufacturing”.

We welcome submissions for topics that cover but are not limited to:

•    New/Modified EBAM/hybrid technologies
•    Process observation, stability and control
•    Processing and properties of all kind of metallic (multi-)materials
•    Powder/Wire feedstock and secondary/finishing operations
•    Modelling, simulation, digitalization and artificial intelligence

Timeline:
•    31 March 2023: Invitation of manuscripts from EBAM 2023 to be submitted
•    30 May 2023: Deadline for submission of manuscripts
•    15 July 2023: Deadline for submission of revised manuscripts
