Aims and scope

The Indian Journal of Gynecologic Oncology (IJGO) is an academic initiative of the Association of Gynecological Oncologists of India (AGOI), and one of the primary objectives of AGOI is to provide a platform for gynecological oncologists from India and SAARC countries and abroad to exchange ideas, propagate the advancement of science in this field. AGOI is the only association in SAARC countries for the gynecological oncologist and was established in 1991. It is a registered body and is recognized by the International Gynecological Cancer Society (IGCS).

IJGO is a double-blind, double peer-reviewed journal that features articles written by clinicians, clinical researchers and basic scientists about research and patient care issues in gynecological oncology. This journal focuses on new and emerging technologies, cutting-edge science, advances, preventive and therapeutic aspects of gynecological oncology.

The Journal aims to continue its mission of being the ambassador of gynecological oncology research and innovations from India, and also serve as a platform of gynecological oncologists from across the world to share their research findings.
