Journal of Medical and Biological Engineering (JMBE) is the official journal of the Taiwanese Society of Biomedical Engineering, which contains basic, applied, and clinical studies dealing with full spectrum of biomedical engineering. JMBE published original contributions on medical imaging, medical instrumentation, bioinformatics, biomechanics, tissue engineering, clinical engineering, biomaterials, and so on. Papers ranged from engineering development in methods and techniques with biomedical applications to experimental and clinical studies with engineering and clinical contributions.
 

Submitted papers must be unpublished previously and must not be under consideration for all other journals.
The Editor-in-Chief and Associate Editors will give a quick review of each submitted paper to evaluate the quality of manuscript in terms of novelty and appropriateness and will return the submitted papers immediately if it does not meet the quality requirements of the journal.
The first revision will be done by two or three professional reviewers within one month after submission.
The average period for manuscript acceptance is about two months.
