Peer review process for Digital Experiences in Mathematics Education
Each manuscript undergoes single anonymous peer review after being assessed for suitability for the journal by a subgroup of Editorial Board Members. If the manuscript is deemed suitable the handling Editor will send it to at least 2 (and usually not more than 4) reviewers. Reviewers are active researchers in the field of mathematics education, usually at different stages of their careers, and at least one of them is an Editorial Board Member. The reviews are used by the handling Editor to make a decision on the manuscript (reject, accept the manuscript or ask for a revision, specifying whether major or minor and describing the changes that need to be made in order for the manuscript to be reconsidered for publication). The review process is usually repeated for more than once cycle.
