GENERAL OBJECTIVES: Computational Particle Mechanics (CPM) is a journal publishing full-length original articles addressing the modeling and simulation of systems involving particle mechanics and methods. The goal is to enhance communication among researchers in engineering and applied sciences who use "particles'' in one form or another in their research. Each annual volume consists of five issues.
SCOPE: The phrase "particle methods/mechanics'' has now come to encompass a variety topics, including:
CPM will focus on the above topics and welcomes their use on a variety of applications, such as:
As a result of the significant disruption that is being caused by the COVID-19 pandemic we are very aware that many researchers will have difficulty in meeting the timelines associated with our peer review process during normal times. Please do let us know if you need additional time. Our systems will continue to remind you of the original timelines but we intend to be highly flexible at this time.
CPM-Rapids provides a highly visible venue for short, high-quality reviewed papers across the full range of topics covered by the journal. More information here.
