Review Journal of Autism and Developmental Disorders - New Incoming Editor-in-Chief Jill Fodstad

We’re excited to welcome Jill Fodstad as the incoming Editor-in-Chief of Review Journal of Autism and Developmental Disorders!

Jill Fodstad, PhD, HSPP, BCBA-D is an Associate Professor in the DepartmentNew Content Item of Psychiatry at the Indiana University School of Medicine. She graduated with her PhD in Clinical Psychology from Louisiana State University. As a licensed psychologist and board-certified behavior analyst-doctoral level, Dr. Fodstad serves as a clinician, researcher, and supervisor to various levels of trainees. Her clinical and research interests focus on the development and dissemination of models of identification and treatment for co-occurring conditions in individuals with neurodevelopmental disabilities including self-injurious behavior, regression, and psychiatric conditions.

Dr. Fodstad has been a co-investigator or Principal Investigator on institutional, foundational, or federally funded research projects. Recent projects involve creating a diagnosis-specific care and training plan for teens and adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder who receive acute psychiatric care in non-specialized hospital based settings, identifying biomarkers for regression in individuals with Down Syndrome, and developing and embedding mobile health screening tools for psychiatric conditions in primary care for children with developmental disabilities. Dr. Fodstad has published over 90 articles and book chapters, and regularly presents at scientific meetings. She has served as an Editorial Board member and Associate Editor for several journals.
