Journal updates

In dedication to Dr. Vadim Ivanovich Utkin (1937-2022), Journal of Control, Automation and Electrical Systems will be making his recent article “Brief Comments for Doubts in Filippov Method (this opens in a new tab)” free access until December 29^th 2022.

Dr. Utkin led a remarkable career in control theory and electrical engineering, and most recently served as Professor of Electrical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering at the Ohio State University. He is remembered as one of the originators of Sliding Mode Control and Variable Structure Systems.

We thank the many authors who have brought their important contributions to Journal of Control, Automation and Electrical Systems in 2021. Here we highlight some of the journal’s most downloaded and most cited articles of the year.
