Observational, Theoretical and Computational Research on the Climate System

Publishing model:

Overview

Climate Dynamics is an international journal dedicated to publishing high-quality research on all aspects of the dynamics of the global climate system.

  • Original research on the structure and behavior of the atmosphere, oceans, cryosphere, biomass and land surface, as well as reviews emphasizing an integrated view of the physical and biogeochemical processes governing climate and climate change.
  • Techniques covered include paleoclimatic, diagnostic, analytical and numerical modeling.
  • Topics published include tipping points, the ocean's role in climate, decadal prediction, and climate sensitivity.
  • 98% of authors who answered a survey reported that they would definitely publish or probably publish in the journal again.
