Advances in Atmospheric Sciences - 2023 Editor's Award
The AAS Editor’s Award recognizes an individual reviewer for their especially thorough and impactful comments contributing to the improvement of a manuscript submitted to Advances in Atmospheric Sciences (AAS). The peer review process, and therefore the success of AAS, would not be possible without the generous contributions of time and knowledge from all participating reviewers. Nominations are submitted to the editorial office for initial consideration. Final selections are made by the Editors-in-Chief.
Our featured reviewers are those who have:
- The reviewer’s comments were essential in assessing the quality of the submitted manuscript and its associated study;
- The reviewer’s comments were helpful to the authors and respectful of the authors’ work;|
- The reviewer’s comments ultimately led to the improvement of the manuscript and/or study, and therefore the advancement of the scientific and peer review processes.
AAS would like to acknowledge and thank every reviewer who has contributed time and effort to improving the content of our journal (this opens in a new tab). Many reviewers go above and beyond what is asked of them and fully meet the criteria for this award, and we regret that we cannot recognize each of them publicly here. From the long list of generous and qualified reviewers, we have highlighted a few of our most outstanding reviewers.
Congratulations to the AAS Editor’s Award recipients of 2023.
