In 2023 we celebrated the 50th Anniversary of Applied Physics! To highlight the achievement, the Applied Physics A journal is honored to present a special collection of invited papers from prominent researchers within the journal’s scope. The series of papers is organized by Editor-in-Chief Thomas Lippert and board member Alexandra Palla Papavlu.
