The “Enrico Fermi” Prize of the Italian Physical Society for 2022 was awarded to Giorgio Benedek, Professor Emeritus of the University of Milan Bicocca, and to Jan Peter Toennies, Professor Emeritus of the Max-Planck-Institut in Göttingen.
