New Thematic Series - Call for Papers
We cordially invite you to contribute an article to a special issue entitled “Materials by Design Under Pressure: experiments and theory” for publication in the Applied Physics A guest-edited by:
Dr. Eran Greenberg, Soreq Nuclear Research Center
Prof. Yan-Ling Li, Jiangsu Normal University
Dr. Elissaios Stavrou, Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory
Prof. Yansun Yao, University of Saskatchewan
In this special issue, we invite contributions aiming to identify new synthesis approaches of metastable materials under pressure, with enhanced properties that are precisely tailored to offer specific properties and be used in specific applications. Such materials have the potential to provide the fundamental knowledge needed to enable the development of next-generation technologies. Given that synthesis studies conducted at non-ambient conditions depend heavily on established links and synergy between experiment and theory, we specifically aim to invite papers that will help in bridging the gap between experimental and theoretical approaches.
When submitting your paper please select the article type: T.C. Materials by Design Under Pressure: experiments and theory.
Topical Collection will be open for submissions until the 1st of June 2021.
