Announcing Our New Data Policy
Following a recent change in data policy for Behavioral Ecology and Sociobiology it is now mandatory to make data open/freely available and linked from and cited in the article.
By requiring data deposition and strongly recommending to supplement source codes for publications in the journal we hope this will promote transparency and reproducibility - for more information on the update please see our Editorial from our Editors-in-Chief.
Guidance for Authors
Please consult our recommended repositories list to find a suitable repository for your data, and if you have questions or would like more help please contact the Springer Nature’s Research Data Helpdesk for free advice.
