Announcement

Following the success of the CTBT: Science and Technology 2021 conference (SnT2021), selected presenters to SnT2021 are invited to submit their contribution as a full paper for a topical issue of PAGEOPH. This topical issue will be produced as a continuation of the PAGEOPH special issue “Nuclear Explosion Monitoring and Verification: Scientific and Technological Advances” in Volume 178, issue 7/2021 (this opens in a new tab) published after the Science and Technology 2019 conference (SnT2019).
That topical issue of PAGEOPH covers all IMS sensor technologies (seismology, infrasound, hydroacoustic, radionuclide) as well as OSI techniques and addresses all five Themes of the SnT2021 Conference: 1. The Earth as a Complex System, 2. Events and Nuclear Test Sites, 3. Verification Technologies and Technique Applications, 4. Performance Evaluation and Optimization, 5. CTBT in a Global Context.

All submissions will be subject to the PAGEOPH peer review process. Submitted papers will be sent to at least two reviewers. Please submit your paper (including the List of references) according to the PAGEOPH style by going to the PAGEOPH Submission guidelines (this opens in a new tab).

Papers will be published individually online shortly after being accepted. The combined manuscripts will be published as a topical issue of the journal PAGEOPH. There is no limit on the number of pages and figures per manuscript, but the length of the article should be justified by its content.

Interested authors that did not participate in Science and Technology meetings are also invited to submit to that Topical Issue of PAGEOPH. Instructions on how to submit your paper to the topical issue rather than to a normal issue will be provided soon.

Deadline for submissions of the paper to PAGEOPH for review: 15 January 2022
