Computational Statistics - Call for Papers: Special Issue "Latin American Conference on Statistical Computing 2023"

Guest Editors: David F. Muñoz, Cristian L. Bayes, and Jürgen Symanzik 

This special issue is devoted to the research that was presented at the VII Latin American Conference on Statistical Computing (LACSC 2023). 

LACSC is the annual conference of the Latin American Regional Section of the International Association for Statistical Computing (IASC-LARS). The main purpose of LACSC is to foster the progress of the theory, methods, and practice of statistical computing in Latin America. LACSC 2023 took place on April 3-5, 2023 under the topic “Statistical Learning and Spatial Data”.  

Topics that are of special interest for this special issue include research related to the theory, methods, application, and use of software related to statistical computing to solve real-life problems as presented at LACSC 2023.

Paper Submission 

Submissions related to keynote, invited, contributed, and poster sessions presented at the LACSC 2023 conference will be considered. Submitted articles must not have been previously published or currently submitted for journal publication elsewhere. Publication of a preliminary version of your article in the LACSC conference proceedings is fine. As an author, you are responsible for understanding and adhering to the submission guidelines of Computational Statistics. You can access them here:
