Aims and scope

Neotropical Entomology is an international journal devoted to fundamental and applied research in Entomology and Acarology with a focus on Neotropical fauna. Fauna from other regions are welcome as long as their impact is internationally relevant.

The journal considers for publication manuscripts in the following areas: 

- ecology
- behavior
- bionomics
- morphology
- physiology
- biological control
- pest management
- medical and veterinary entomology
- systematics

We aim to reach a broad readership, including not only researchers but also professionals and decision-makers. 

Neotropical Entomology is the official journal of the Entomological Society of Brazil and publishes 6 issues per year.
